August 11, 2012We had a great time today at Max Brenner's Chocolate by the Bald Man! The teens used smartphone applications (google and hopstop) to determine the best travel route to get to Union Square. It was determined that the 6 train heading downtown would be the best method of travel. The teens received a demonstration of the metro card machine and they each purchased a metro card. We arrived within minutes and got to sample some delicious chocolate. While it was a large menu, everyone was able to find something that they enjoyed keeping dietary restrictions and allergies in mind. The teens continued to work on appropriate lunch conversation, manners, ordering their food and of course, the daunting task of figuring out the bill.
