Strikes, Spares and Cupcakes

We celebrated a member’s birthday at Lucky Strike Bowling!  We decided as a group that the travel route to the bowling alley was most logically a taxi.  We split up into two groups and each group was assigned a student to tell the taxi driver the address to and from Lucky Strike.  We also worked on paying the taxi driver and figured out the appropriate tip.  The teens engaged in a great game of bowling where they supported each other and cheered each other on.  The teens ordered lunch and shared birthday cupcakes with one another. In addition, as the 2012 Olympic games were on TV, the teens engaged in a meaningful discussion about the Olympics and their favorite sports and athletes.
