Teenz in the City shared our very first annual friendgiving outing this past week. The group worked on travel training using web applications and determined that the crosstown bus would be the quickest and most cost effective way to travel to Boston Market. We reviewed metro cards and the importance of being aware of one's surroundings while traveling on public transporation. The group dined at Boston Market to feast on some delicious pre Thanksgiving foods including turkey, mashed potatoes, corn bread and vegetables. During lunch, we spoke about what we were thankful for this year and our plans for Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to our upcoming holiday sesason outings.
