We had such a nice time at our outing on Saturday to Ellen's Stardust diner. The teens used google maps to locate the address of the restaurant and figure out the best travel route. Upon arrival, the teens were flexible with waiting on the line to enter the restaurant and immediately upon entering began to sing along and dance to the familiar songs being preformed. We learned that all the waiters/waitresses are aspiring actors/actresses and that all the tips recieved go towards their singing/dancing lessons. When the bill arrived, we engaged the group in a conversation regarding figuring out the bill and determining the appropriate tip and tax. This is a concept that we will continue to work on.
