October 6, 2012We had a fabulous time at our outing on Saturday to Bowlmar lanes. It was great to have a new addition to our group and it felt like he had been with us from the start! The group used hopstop on our iphones to get the travel route to and from Bowlmar lanes. We decided that the 6 train was the most convenient way to get to Union Square, especially in the rain and discused with the group, the importance of reading all subway signs to make sure that you get on the correct direction "Uptown or Downtown." We also reviewed with the students how to use the metrocard machine and will continue to reinforce this skill.
Once we arrived at Bowlmar, the group paid for their own bowling shoes/lane and did a great job! Fun, strikes and laughter were had by all. Afterwards, we headed next door for a pizza dance party.
