Konichiwa!
October 13, 2012

We had a great trip to Benihana this past Saturday. We used google maps on the iphone to locate the address of Benihana. From there, we determined that a taxi was the most logical way to travel to the restaurant. We took turns in the taxi telling the taxi driver the address of Benihana and figuring out what an appropriate tip would be. At the restaurant, we practiced using chopsticks for our lunch. The group was really in awe of the chef's tricks, in particular, a volcano made out of onions and tossing shrimp tails into his hat and pocket. We encouraged the teens to engage in conversation with each other over lunch. We were impressed by how friendly and accommodating the staff of Benihana was in terms of dietary restrictions/special requests. Fun was had by all, and it was nice to have another new addition to the group!
